CATFISHED PRODUCTION

Catfished" is a contemporary Mandarin theatre production by The Flux Media in Singapore that explores the impact of technology on relationships, particularly through the lens of catfishing. The play, written by Dennis Toh and directed by Yeo Lyle, follows three women who turn to social media for love and become entangled in the world of online deception. It delves into the complexities of love, identity, and detachment in the digital age, prompting audiences to question the distinction between real and virtual selves. The play premiered in May 2023 and was staged at Gateway Theatre.
