RAD RUSSEL, the brand that reflects the London-chic style, opened their flagship store in Singapore over at Plaza Singapura and this season marks an exciting collaboration with SIMON CARTER, in the launch of their new footwear capsule collection in sunny Singapore.
Designed with the hint of Simon Carter’s iconic cinnamon, the designs look effortlessly chic and stylish for men. They are perfect for work and play, with its sleek design contributing to its versatility. Of course, all these in the Carter’s sense of London style!
The collection comprises classic Oxford’s and Derbies handcrafted in calf leathers, buttery sheepskin leather inners and soles so comfortably-padded that it reduces any tedium from walking, as sheepskin leather is soft enough to allow the imprint of the foot to be taken quickly by the shoe for increased comfort.
There are two styles of shoe in the collection: The Wholecut which takes its name from the outer being made of one whole piece of leather. The second is the Derby which has the eyelet’s sitting above the upper on two separate pieces of leather. The outer-sole comes in anti-slip rubber outer-sole in the signature Simon Carter house Paisley pattern, giving the shoes a subtle hint of elegance and class. The rubber is ideal for London weather as well as Singapore’s erratic rain patterns as the rubber provides an essential grip and durability as compared to a leather sole.
