Dim Sum Dollies, Hossan Leong and Friends Bring the Chaos Back in Crazy Christmas Jam

Dream Academy’s year-end comedy musical returns to the Singtel Waterfront Theatre from 15 to 20 December, with the Dim Sum Dollies®, Hossan Leong and a top-ten countdown of the year’s wildest local moments.
Selena Tan, Pam Oei and Jo Tan will pull on their bedazzled jammies again this December, and Singapore should brace itself. As the Dim Sum Dollies®, the trio are back to jingle their way through a “ho ho ho” top-ten list of everything that kept the island in a jam all year.
Crazy Christmas Jam is the latest chapter in Dream Academy’s beloved festive franchise. It runs from 15 to 20 December 2026 at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. Tan, who founded the company, leads the production, and fellow Dolly Pam Oei directs. The format is one audiences know well: the Dollies review the year’s strangest local moments with sharp satire, wit and festive tunes, and this edition promises to turn that tradition into a full-blown jam of music and mischief.
They won’t be doing it alone. Hossan Leong, the funny-forever Singapore Boy, returns with his signature charm, and stand-up comedian Jacky Ng joins the line-up to tie the cheeky rascals up in what the producers describe as a deliciously ticklish cuddle. Around them is a company of musical talent: vocal virtuoso John Lee, the a cappella group Vocaluptuous, tap dancer Rino Junior John, music man Andrew Marko and jazz singer Alemay Fernandez. Between them, the evening moves through jazz, a cappella, tap and comedy, and the producers pitch it as an easy fit for family outings, date nights and office celebrations alike.
The show has been doing this for a long time. Crazy Christmas first opened in 2007 at the Esplanade Concert Hall, with the Dim Sum Dollies®, Sebastian Tan as Broadway Beng®, Hossan Leong and Vocaluptuous. It returned to the Esplanade Theatre the following year, then settled into an annual fixture through the early 2010s, with Kumar among its regular faces. In 2015 it marked Singapore’s Golden Jubilee with A Candlelight Christmas, a warmer, more nostalgic take that paired choral arrangements with comedy. A year later, Ting Tong Belles put Pam Oei in the Santa suit.
The show has also adapted when it had to. It came back in 2019 after a hiatus with fresh sketches and pop culture parodies. In 2020, Crazy Christmas in Lockdown took the festivities online with remote comedy sketches and digital carols. In 2023, Back in Business brought audiences back into the theatre.
Crazy Christmas Jam runs for about 100 minutes without an intermission, and is performed in English. Standard tickets are priced from $108 to $158, and weekend performances from $138 to $178, excluding a $6 booking fee. Tickets are available at bookmyshow.sg/en/events/CCJAM026.
