“

Hong Kong TV Drama Golden Songs Echo Concert 2026” brings six singers and a Chinese instrumental ensemble together on 31 October. Tickets are on sale now.

For many Singaporeans, the opening bars of a Hong Kong drama theme are enough to bring the living room, the television and the whole family back. On Saturday, 31 October, those songs return to the stage with the 香港电视剧金曲回响演唱会 2026 (Hong Kong TV Drama Golden Songs Echo Concert 2026) at Gateway Theatre (佳伟剧院).

The setlist runs through some of the genre’s best-loved themes: 亲情, 笑看风云, 啼笑姻缘, 倚天屠龙记, 网中人, 上海滩, 楚留香, 狂潮, 万水千山总是情, 天涯歌女 and 世间始终你好.

The organisers also promise more memorable drama classics on the night.

A cross-border line-up

Six performers from Singapore, Hong Kong and China headline the show:

  • Zhang Yujia (张宇嘉), a young Chinese director and bel canto singer

  • Qi Chaoqun (戚超群), a veteran Singapore Cantonese opera instructor

  • Li Weisong (李伟菘), a well-known producer and composer in the Mandarin music scene

  • Jiao Yuan (焦媛), billed as a Hong Kong “queen of the stage”

  • Jia Yi (嘉翊, Garrick), a Singapore–Hong Kong cross-disciplinary artist

  • Guan Xue’er (关雪儿), a Singapore Cantonese singing star

Traditional instruments at the centre

Instead of a standard band, the concert features the 回响吹打团 (Echo ensemble), a Chinese instrumental group led by artistic director Chen Qinglun (陈庆伦). Hearing these familiar melodies on traditional instruments should give the evening a distinctive sound.

Ticketing details

With the concert just over a week away, fans of classic Hong Kong drama music have little time left to secure seats.
