Fantasìa by Escribà is the world’s first confectionery theatre extravaganza. Brought to you by Christian Escribà and Patricia Schmidt, it promises dazzling theatrical showcases, towering masterpieces made from confectionery, and an array of delectable sweet and savoury treats.
In our preview session of Fantasìa by Escribà, many chefs have described Christian to be a tough competitor, one who is constantly challenging them with the new feats he has come up with. He is not only a chef but an illusionist who dreams unthinkable things that he makes real.
In the three day event of performance, pageantry and patisserie, guests will be entertained by a host of lavish theatrical performances created by one of Europe’s most famous theatre groups, Comediants. We got to witness some of their professional acting skills through Skype as well as during the media session and you can be assured that they have what it takes to keep you entertained.
Besides that, they will get to witness the world’s tallest chocolate fall and masterpieces made of sugar and chocolate displayed across all eight themed pavilions. There will most certainly be at least one pavilion that appeals to you.
Ever seen live size animals made out of sugar and chocolate? What about high heel shoes, flowers, or butterflies? Be prepared to take a lot of photographs of these amazing creations!
Guests will also be able to enjoy a selection of delicious sweet and savoury treats, including Pasteleria Escribà’s famous Chocolate Red Lips, Crema Catalana, Caramelised Strawberries, an assortment of Croissants, and shots of Callebaut Chocolate. Each visitor will be entitled to twelve complimentary treats, at a combined value of $50, with the choice to purchase more delicious creations within the venue.
Fantasìa by Escribà will take place at Marina Bay Sands Convention and Exhibition Centre, Halls D & E, from 22 to 24 August, 2014. Tickets to the regular showcases are available at early-bird prices of S$88 for children, S$128 for adults and family bundles (2 Adults & 2 Children) for S$388.
