Concorde Hotel Singapore is delighted to announce the provision of one additional week of paternity leave for their employees, in support of the Government’s initiative to encourage shared responsibility between parents.

Under the Government-Paid Paternity Leave (GPPL) scheme, fathers whose child with Singapore citizenship is born on or after 1 January 2015 can now take up to two weeks of paternity leave, with the flexibility of using it within 12 months from the birth of their child.

“At Concorde Hotel Singapore, one of our top priorities lies in ensuring work-life balance for our employees.” said Mr. Karl L. Muir, General Manager of Concorde Hotel Singapore. “By voluntarily agreeing to provide the additional week of paternity leave, we hope to improve the overall well-being of our hosts and their ability to cope with family demands.”
